How to Install WordPress on Hostinger (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

Installing WordPress on Hostinger is pretty easy and straightforward. Here are the steps you need to take in order to install WordPress on your Hostinger hosting account.

If you have not yet signed up with Hostinger, then please read steps 1-3 below to learn how to do so. If you have already done that, jump straight to step #4 to learn WordPress installation on Hostinger.

Step 1: Go to Hostinger’s official website.

Step 2: Pick your favourite web hosting plan.

Hostinger comes with three pricing plans that you can sign up for–Single, Premium, and Business. I would recommend the Business Shared Hosting plan to you, as it is the best plan available.

The main difference between the Hostinger plans are:

• Single shared plan: host 1 website.
• Premium shared plan: Free domain name + host 100 websites.
• Business shared plan: Everything in Single and Premium + a free Positive SSL certificate, daily backups, Cloudflare integration, and more.

Once you have chosen a plan that you like, simply click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button to begin the checkout process.

Step 3: Sign up with Hostinger and Complete your purchase

Now, they will ask you to select the billing period. If you want to take advantage of a heavy discount, then you should choose the 48 months (4 years) billing period.

Next, you need to enter your email address to create an account on Hostinger or you can log in using your existing Google, or Facebook account.

Then, scroll down your screen a little to select a payment method. Hostinger accepts payment through a variety of methods, including credit cards Google Pay, Alipay, CoinGate (Cryptocurrencies), and PayPal.

Step 4: Install WordPress on Hostinger (Using Auto-Installer)

After logging in to your Hostinger account, click on the Home tab from the navigation menu.

Next, choose the domain name on which you want to install WordPress and click the Manage button which will take you to Hostinger’s hPanel. It looks something like this;

Then, click on the “Auto Installer” option.

Select WordPress to continue.

Next, you will need to complete a simple WordPress form to configure your installation settings.

To fill out a form, first of all, you need to choose a blog title (you can always change this later) and set up a blog administrator username, password, and email address for accessing your WordPress dashboard.

Then hit the Next button.

On the next screen, if you would like to be automatically updated to the latest version of WordPress, opt in to “Always update to the latest available version”.

Now, click on the “Install Now” button and Hostinger will begin installing WordPress onto your hosting account.

Please note that this process may take up to 5 minutes (or less) to complete. Once installation is complete, you will be able to access your newly installed WordPress site at https://your-domain-name/wp-admin.
